The Softer Side of Dakota Trace

When I’m not writing, I am being a mother of three busy children. My oldest is Michael. He’s 12 going on 21 and plays the trombone and is going out for cross country. My middle daughter is 7 and is my drama queen. Gabrielle takes everything so seriously. She loves to draw and climb trees and wants to be a princess when she grows up. Quite the combination. My youngest at 5, Penelope, is my tomboy. She chases after her brother and sister and tries to do everything that they do. She keeps telling Gabby that soon she will be the bigger little sister. My girls are the same size at the moment and I suspect that Penelope will by pass her sister soon. Gabby is just so tiny like her mother while Penny takes after her father. Dad is my husband, Scott, who is a big bear of man. We’ve been together for thirteen years and plan on many more. And to round out this family we have an adoptive “aunt” who lives with us and is like a second mother to the kids. ‘Aunt’ Kim is a wonderful friend and is a wonderful sounding board for me with my writing. Add to the mix a playful puppy named Missi-moo because she looks like a little cow and you have my family life in a nutshell.
