A wonderful and productive weekend!

13 07 2008

Lordy Bless the weather here as been wonderful today. Yesterday was a bit warm but that’s par for Iowa in middle of July. After spending the evening outside yesterday with kiddos, I actually managed to do a round of edits for my editor. Fairly soon, I will have another story ready for submission on eXcessica. It is a full length novel called Just Between Friends. I have posted it in the past on Literotica and Storyonline. From the response that I have received from those two sites, I do believe that I will have a positive response.

Today was a good day for writing today. I finished another two chapters on the current story I am working on. I am sure that my editor feels like I am burying her in work. Aside from writing today, I had the normal mom stuff. My five and seven year old wandered back into the house, covered in head to toe. Obviously they thought that they were auditioning for the part of the mud people. After my husband died of laughter and a bar of soap and lots of water, I found two girls under all the mud and muck.

But now it’s back to Sergio and Rachel, I hope to finish the next chapter.

HOT and STICKY

10 07 2008

Well, I do believe we have entered the dog days of Summer. It’s hot and humid with scattered thunderstorms. As if the part of Iowa, I live in needs anymore blasted rain! Other than making everyone in my household cranky, it has made it difficult to write. So far I’ve manage to push out another chapter on my non-human story, The Girl From Nepal. And two chapters on my follow up story to “Barely There”. Or should I say my prequel story of it. I had several requests for Sergio and Rachel’s story after I posted “Barely There” on Literotica and Storiesonline. Not a very productive week for me but I guess I shouldn’t’ complain.

I am in process of editing some of my older work also to submit to eXcessica, so I’m crossing my fingers that they will also get accepted. Well maybe tomorrow will bring some relief to the heat and I’ll get more done on my stories. Here’s to hoping.
